    • Central Market on Jalan Hang Kasturi, other than being one of the main attractions of Kuala Lumpur, offers a variety of crafts, art, and souvenirs of Malaysian heritage and culture. It also supplies art products for artists. I would go for this one since it is easier to reach by train (LRT), without having to rely on driving on my own.
    • Art Friend in The Gardens, Midvalley City is a branch of art shop from Singapore. The prices are affordable (pricey depending on the brands), but you can find most of what you're looking for.
    • Art Shop at Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur is opened for the students of the nearby art school. Since it is for the students, you can imagine the prices that should be pretty cheap. It is easy to reach using MRR2. It should be located at around Jalan Negara, or nearby Strategy College, but I'm not so sure.
